Meet the Li and La of LiLa Learning!
LiLa launched in the summer of 2023, with its origins beginning long before that. Having struggled early on with learning challenges of their own, LiLa’s founders, Liz and Lainie, recognize that it took the right tools and guidance to thrive. Today, as educational therapists supporting all types of learners, Liz and Lainie enjoy sharing in the success and growth that result from effective, scaffolded approaches. The goal of LiLa has always been to guide students, parents, and professionals as they navigate the world of learning and executive function through the implementation of effective curriculum, strategies, and tools.

Our student bootcamps are very hands-on and work best in person. If you are out of the Los Angeles area and are interested in setting up a virtual small group bootcamp, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Yes! If you are interested in a private student bootcamp, we require a minumum of 8 students and a maximum of 15.

Our bootcamp is great for any student who is open to learning new strategies and tools for getting organized, managing their time, and studying. While these skills should ideally be introduced in early elementary school, our bootcamp is best for middle and high school students.

Attendees can expect a lively, thought-provoking, interactive experience. They will learn about various learning challenges and tools to support these challenges within their classrooms. Additionally, participants will build empathy through experiencing what it feels like to have a learning disability.

The LiLa System
The LiLa System provides scaffolded, step-by-step support to build effective and efficient executive function skills.
Students will receive access to videos that teach the process of planning and executing their daily academic and personal responsibilities.

LiLa Plan provides a structured weekly view designed to help students PLAN academic and personal commitments. While schools often offer a to-do list of assignments and due dates on a virtual platform, LiLa Plan provides a way to turn that to-do list into an easily executed roadmap to get students through the week. This system helps students break down their time and tasks to create a manageable, productive plan.

LiLa Work is a pre-assembled, structured academic binder system used to help students track both current and completed paper-based schoolwork. All work remains accessible in clearly labeled sections, providing a designated space for notes, classwork/handouts, graded work, and tests/quizzes/study guides, along with a designated section for work to turn in, file, and to do. Having all classwork together in one convenient location ensures that students have everything they need when they need it.
